Just heard from Abbey. The latest from the OR is that Ella is doing GREAT!!!! Abbey said that she messed up a little in her last entry. When Ella was being prepped for surgery, they actually put her on the ventilator, not the heart/lung bypass. That being said, all of Ella's IV's and lines are in and she is on the ventilator. The cardic surgeon was getting ready to get Ella on the heart/lung bypass and get the surgery started. It sounds like the most time consuming part of the surgery is the prep and then getting her off of the heart/lung bypass machine.
I will keep you posted as I hear more. Keep the prayers coming! Thank you to everyone out there for all of your prayers. They mean more to our family than you will ever know. God Bless each of you!!
... just got another text from Abbey. 10:02 a.m. Her and Wyatt were in the cafeteria when the update came through so, not a lot of details. Just that Ella is doing great!!!
